To the Women Who Shape Us: A Mother’s Day Reflection

While digging through a box of long-forgotten photos recently, I stumbled upon one of my family gathered around a holiday table—laughing, connecting, simply being.

It stopped me in my tracks. In that moment, I was reminded just how deeply my mother and grandmother shaped my life. They taught me that strength and kindness go hand in hand, that together we can move mountains, and that it's always worth being fearless in the pursuit of your dreams.

When I opened Caroline and Main in 2016, I carried those lessons with me. The store was inspired by generations of strong women before us, whose resilience, grace, and spunky spirit are woven into everything we do.

Every collection that we curate, every interaction we have, every moment we share inside these walls is grounded in what my grandmother and my mother instilled in me: heart, intention, and the belief that style is more than just what you wear—it's how you carry yourself in the world.

This Mother’s Day, we honor all the women who lift and lead us—mothers, grandmothers, daughters, mentors, and soul sisters. Whether you're celebrating your own mother, remembering someone you’ve lost, nurturing a child, or simply showing up for the people you love, know this: you are the heart of it all.
