The concept of Pink Friday first emerged around 2020, thanks to The Boutique Hub, in the middle of the pandemic. Many independent retailers were hurting, and the idea was simple but inspiring: give small businesses a moment in the spotlight one week before Black Friday, so shoppers can "shop small first." Since then, thousands of boutiques across the country have embraced it.
For man, Pink Friday isn’t about competing with big-box stores — it’s a celebration of community, connection, and the personal touches that only small shops can deliver.
